Sales Executive

Job Brief
We are looking for a competitive Sales Executive to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services. As a Sales Executive they will also research sales competition.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Executive are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new customers. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with current customers. The Sales Executive may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market. Examples of the duties and responsibilities include:

  • Get the sale using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling,
    presentations etc.)
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their
    effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events, and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory (to be determined
    after hire)

Skills and Qualifications
A successful Sales Executive candidate will have various skills and qualifications to perform the required duties, including effective communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. Additionally, a Sales Executive candidate should have knowledge of industry trends, marketing
strategies and consumer psychology. Outside Sales Representative skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven sales experience particularly in a B2B environment
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Experience with common customer management relationship software and platforms
  • Understanding of common sales techniques and theory, including sales funnel
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
  • Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends
  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
